Affiliate Disclosure
Effective Date: 01/03/2026
Last Updated: 01/03/2026
This Affiliate Disclosure explains how Anzilo (“Anzilo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may earn compensation from certain links, recommendations, referrals, reviews, partner listings, software comparisons, resource pages, emails, guides, blog content, social media posts, videos, downloadable materials, and other content published on anzilo.com or otherwise distributed by us (collectively, the “Content”).
We believe in being clear about commercial relationships. If we recommend a product, platform, app, service, software provider, or partner and we may benefit if you click, sign up, or buy, we want you to know that.
1. Material Relationships And Affiliate Links
Some of the links on our website or in our Content may be affiliate links, referral links, partner links, or links connected to a commercial relationship.
This means that if you click a link, sign up, book a demo, start a free trial, make a purchase, or otherwise take a qualifying action, we may receive something of value, including:
- a commission;
- a referral fee;
- revenue share;
- recurring revenue share;
- account credits;
- partner fees;
- free access to software;
- discounted pricing;
- bonus features;
- agency perks;
- early access to products or beta programs;
- co-marketing opportunities;
- other commercial benefits.
The FTC expects disclosure of material connections between endorsers and the companies they talk about, and Amazon separately requires Associates to identify themselves and use a compliant disclosure.
2. Why We Use Affiliate Links
We may use affiliate and referral links to help support:
- the cost of operating the website;
- research and testing of ecommerce tools;
- the production of free educational content;
- guides, templates, audits, benchmarks, and resources;
- internal training and experimentation with software relevant to ecommerce brands;
- ongoing content creation and publishing.
Affiliate revenue may also allow us to keep producing resources without charging for every piece of content.
3. Types Of Partners We May Reference
Because Anzilo operates in ecommerce marketing, retention, growth, analytics, and digital commerce, we may from time to time reference or link to tools and platforms commonly used by ecommerce brands.
These may include, where applicable, ecommerce platforms, apps, email and SMS tools, analytics tools, reviews tools, helpdesk tools, subscription tools, conversion tools, and related service providers, including examples such as:
- Shopify
- Shopify Plus
- Shopify Apps
- WooCommerce
- WordPress ecommerce tools
- Klaviyo
- Attentive
- Postscript
- Yotpo
- Okendo
- Loox
- Judge.me
- Gorgias
- Recharge
- Triple Whale
- Northbeam
- Google Ads tools
- Meta-related tools
- creative and CRO tools
- analytics and attribution platforms
- subscription, loyalty, UGC, and upsell apps
In some cases we may have an affiliate relationship. In other cases we may simply recommend a tool with no compensation attached. Not every mention or recommendation is a paid or affiliate relationship.
4. How Commercial Relationships May Affect Recommendations
We aim to recommend tools, platforms, and services that we believe are genuinely relevant to ecommerce brands, operators, and marketing teams.
However, because some recommendations may involve a material commercial relationship, you should assume that a recommendation may benefit us unless we say otherwise.
That does not mean a product is recommended only because of compensation. It does mean you should understand that a financial or commercial incentive may exist.
We do not claim to review every available alternative in the market, and we do not promise that any particular tool is the best fit for every business.
5. Our Editorial Approach
We aim to recommend products and services based on factors such as:
- relevance to ecommerce brands;
- practical usefulness;
- implementation experience;
- ecosystem fit;
- platform compatibility;
- agency experience;
- observed strengths and weaknesses;
- client or market relevance.
But our recommendations are still opinions, not guarantees.
We may recommend a tool because:
- we have used it ourselves;
- our clients use it;
- it is popular or commercially relevant in ecommerce;
- we believe it is worth considering for certain use cases;
- we have a formal or informal partner relationship with the provider.
You should always evaluate any product or service independently before making a purchase or implementation decision.
6. Prices, Discounts, Bonuses, And Incentives
In many cases, using an affiliate or referral link does not increase the price you pay. In some cases, our link may give you a discount, extended trial, bonus, onboarding perk, account credit, or similar benefit.
However:
- pricing is controlled by the third party, not by us;
- discounts and offers may change or disappear at any time;
- we do not guarantee that a partner will continue to honor any offer;
- we are not responsible for partner billing, contract terms, renewals, product performance, or support.
7. How We Disclose Affiliate Content
We try to make disclosures clear, noticeable, and understandable.
Depending on the type of content, affiliate disclosures may appear:
- near the link, button, or call to action;
- near a product mention or recommendation;
- at the top of a page, article, or review;
- in a comparison table;
- in a resource page introduction;
- in email copy;
- in social media captions;
- in video descriptions;
- in a footer note where appropriate;
- in this sitewide Affiliate Disclosure.
The FTC says disclosures should be hard to miss and understandable to ordinary readers, and the ASA/CAP guidance for affiliate marketing stresses that advertising content should be obviously identifiable.
8. Examples Of Short Disclosures You May See
You may see short-form statements such as:
- “Some links on this page are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy through them.”
- “We may earn a referral fee if you purchase through links on this page.”
- “Affiliate link: we may receive compensation if you take action after clicking.”
- “Partner link: we may benefit if you sign up through this link.”
- “Paid partnership / affiliate relationship.”
These short disclosures are intended to supplement, not replace, this full Affiliate Disclosure.
9. Reviews, Comparisons, And Resource Pages
If we publish:
- software reviews;
- “best tools” articles;
- app roundups;
- ecommerce stack recommendations;
- migration guides;
- tool comparisons;
- partner directories;
- platform resource pages;
- templates that reference software or service providers,
those materials may contain affiliate or referral links.
Any review, comparison, or recommendation reflects our own opinion at the time it is published. Tools, features, pricing, integrations, and platform quality can change over time.
We do not guarantee that:
- a reviewed tool will meet your needs;
- pricing or features will remain the same;
- an integration will work in your environment;
- any result will come from using a recommended tool.
10. No Guarantee Of Results From Recommended Tools
Even if we recommend a tool, app, or platform, we do not guarantee any result from using it.
For example, we do not guarantee:
- higher revenue;
- lower CAC;
- better ROAS;
- improved deliverability;
- stronger retention;
- more accurate attribution;
- improved conversion rate;
- smoother operations;
- better customer support;
- compliance or platform approval.
Outcomes depend on many business-specific variables outside our control.
11. No Professional Advice
Nothing in our affiliate content, resource pages, reviews, comparisons, or recommendations is legal, tax, financial, accounting, or other regulated professional advice.
Tool and platform recommendations are provided for general informational and commercial purposes only. You are responsible for evaluating whether a product or service is suitable for your business, legal obligations, technical setup, and budget.
12. Third-Party Responsibility
We do not control third-party companies, their products, their pricing, their support, their contracts, or their policies.
We are not responsible for:
- product defects or outages;
- feature changes;
- integration failures;
- pricing changes;
- billing disputes;
- support issues;
- contract terms;
- partner misconduct;
- product removals;
- platform shutdowns.
Any transaction you enter into with a third party is solely between you and that third party.
13. Sponsored Content, Paid Placements, And Partnerships
In some cases, we may publish content that is sponsored, co-marketed, or created in collaboration with a software company, platform, app provider, or partner.
Where required or appropriate, we aim to identify sponsored or paid promotional content clearly.
Depending on the arrangement, the relationship may involve:
- payment for content;
- co-marketing;
- referral incentives;
- event sponsorship;
- co-branded lead generation;
- affiliate commissions;
- media or placement fees.
If content is sponsored or paid promotion, we aim to disclose that clearly.
14. Amazon Associates Disclosure
If Anzilo participates in the Amazon Associates Program and includes Amazon affiliate links, we will include the disclosure Amazon requires for Associates.
Amazon states that Associates must include a legally compliant disclosure with their links and identify themselves on their site using the required Associates language.
Where applicable, the required statement may appear as:
“As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.”
Use this exact statement only if you actually participate in Amazon Associates.
15. UK And International Advertising Transparency
For users in the UK and certain other jurisdictions, affiliate content may need to be made obviously identifiable as advertising or commercial content, depending on how the content is presented and the nature of the relationship.
ASA/CAP guidance emphasizes that affiliate content can fall within advertising rules and should be clearly identifiable as such where applicable.
16. Changes To This Affiliate Disclosure
We may update this Affiliate Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in:
- our business model;
- our affiliate or partner relationships;
- the kinds of tools and platforms we recommend;
- legal and regulatory guidance;
- how we disclose commercial relationships.
When we update this page, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above.
